Chart Trader - 's'?

Hi

When I change the number of contracts directly from the order on the chart, it puts a small 's' next to the number of contracts - why, and what does the 's' stand for?

Thanks for your post.

If two separate orders are stacked you will see the "s" after the quantity.

This means you can right-click the ribbon and adjust each order individually by selecting it that way. Please see the attached screenshot in the forum thread linked below.

Once the orders have been separated you can move them by using the regular left-click method.

I simply changed the number of contracts and got an 's'.

I did not try and "stack" orders (whatever that means)

Thanks for your note.

If you submit multiple orders to the same price, those orders will stack together and an 's' will display next to the number of contracts. This is the default behavior and allows you to be able to adjust each order individually as noted in post #2.
