NT8 wont start after update to Parallels

Parallels did an update and then NT8 wont start. So I thought then I would update NT8 to the latest version which meant it now starts though all my work is gone. When I did the NT8 update it only gave me the options to Repair or Remove NT8 so I chose the Repair option.

Its like its a fresh empty copy of NT8 with no files (worspaces etc.) HELLLP Please . I wont touch it any more until I get some help.

Hello Stuart,

All settings and data are saved in the Documents-->NinjaTrader 8 folder in Windows. It seems this folder was deleted when Parallels did an update. So when you repaired NinjaTrader, it created a new Documents-->NinjaTrader 8 folder.

Do you have a backup file to restore your settings and data? If so, please restore the backup file as per the instructions at the link below.

Are you able to restore your workspaces as per the instructions below?

1. Navigate to Tools -> Database Management
2. Select "Restore workspace"
3. Select Restore to be directed to the location of the recovery workspaces
4. Workspaces will be organized in folders with the same name as the workspace
5. Double click the folder of the workspace you want to recover and then select the recovery file with the date/time that you want to recover. You'll want to select a file larger than 1kb from the available options.
