    Chart window empty

    Anyone see anything like this before? I’ve restarted the platform and computer a couple times and that doesn’t help. All other program windows work fine. You can see chart trader and then my desktop background image.

    Please see my reply below which I sent earlier in a response to the email you sent us.


    Can you please check if you experience the issue if you create a brand new chart without a chart template (see attached screenshot). If not, please add the indicators you normally have added one by one and check after adding each indicator if the chart displays as expected.


    Do you experience the issue if you run NinjaTrader in safe mode? Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:
    • Loading workspaces.
    • Connecting on start-up.
    • Loading custom assemblies.
    • Getting instrument updates from the server.

    To enable safe mode, please use the following steps:
    • Exit NinjaTrader.
    • Hold the Ctrl (Control) key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
    • Keep the Ctrl (Control) key held down until you see the Control Center.
    • You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.

    In addition, please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may further investigate the issue.
    • Open the Windows File Explorer (hotkey = Windows key + E) Then navigate to, "Documents" > 'NinjaTrader 8' folder
    • Right-click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    • Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    • Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

      The issue was caused by a server that was also connected to the monitor in question. The monitor adjusted to the settings of the server video card. Once the server was unplugged, it fixed the issue.

        Sorry not sure how to start a new thread but does anyone know why SR3 graph (historical data) does not work while most other futures instrument do?
        I tried with both my CQG credentials and with "Kinetick - Free End of Day".
