Out of memory

I just started to get a message In the Control Center Status screen:

"An error occured while trying to load a background image: Out of Memory"

This was working and loading simple gradient backgrounds into charts. Now it's not. Any thoughts on why this is happening?

Out of Memory symptoms are seen when we have a workspace that consumes a lot of memory. As an example, per-tick analysis like what is used in Volume Profiles and similar tools carry heavier memory utilization. Other components in the workspace may also contribute to this.

Also, if you have a NinjaTrader running on a MAC or inside Virtual Machine, the memory available to NinjaTrader may be limited to what is set up in the Virtual Machine.

Resolving this matter involves understanding where memory is being spent, so the troubleshooting questions should boil down to:

How much memory does the system have?

How much memory is being used by NinjaTrader at this time?

What is being used in your workspace, and what specific actions are taken (addon's used?) to hit this error? (Testing with a blank workspace can help to narrow down components involved.)
