Stock symbols from Prague stock exchange

    Hello,
I wonder how to map stock symbols from Prague stock Exchange via Interactive Brokers TWS connection. For example, I see KOMB PRA CFD in IB TWS, but I have no idea how to define this instrument or describe it during stock list import to make it show in a chart in NT8.
Thank you for any help with this in advance

    Hello,

    Thank you for the response.

You will need to reach out to Interactive Brokers regarding their symbol mapping for specific instruments. Please let us know if you have additional questions.

      Well,
Rationally, I think you should help me and IBKR thinks the same (see below) as NT handles the symbols and asks TWS to get data so NT should know how is it asking for those data so how or what should I enter in the ticker field to get the data.
      Thank you

      IB's response:
      ----
Thank you for contacting Interactive Brokers.

Since we do not have any exposure to Ninja Trader platform therefore cannot comment/support on the symbologie used in it. We would be able to assist you if you were facing issues with TWS, but as you said you are able to get the symbol on TWS. You may reach out to Ninja Trader for more information on the symbologie used on their platform .

If you have any further questions, please contact us again.

      Regards,

        Hello nicknamed,

        Thank you for your post.

You can use the following link to find what exchanges and symbol mapping Interactive Brokers uses for stocks:

        https://pennies.interactivebrokers.c...3.10/index.php

Then you will need to manually add the custom instrument into the NinjaTrader platform.

You may follow these steps to add a custom Instrument to NinjaTrader 8's Database:
        • Go to the Control Center > Tools > Instruments window
        • Click add at the bottom of this window to create a new instrument
        • Every Instrument will need a 'Master Instrument' name, correct Instrument Type, an Exchange, and Symbol Mapping for the Data Provider you are using
NinjaTrader 8 Help Guide — Adding and Editing Instruments

Please be sure that the exchange is set to Default and that you have selected the correct asset class.

Please let me know if we can be of further assistance.
