    Hello dibDab,

Thank you very much for your post and welcome to the NinjaTrader forums!

To modify NinjaTrader's historical data, please click on Tools > Historical Data, then switch to the "Edit" tab.

After expanding the instrument you may then modify the individual Day/Minute/Tick values saved therein.

Please note that reloading historical data while connected to a live provider would overwrite this data with what is provided by the brokerage/provider.

Regarding your first question; Do you experience any issues or have questions we may assist you with? Please let us know!

just setting up a NinjaScript debugging environment and, if possible, would like an overview as of 2022 (any help or links appreciated).

also can I use the new Visual Studio Code?

        Hello dibDab,

        Thank you for your reply.

NinjaScript can be set up to use Visual Studio for debugging (not Visual Studio Code). As mentioned on the following page, the Visual Studio button in the NinjaScript Editor works with Visual Studio 2015, 2017, 2019, or 2022. If you have multiple versions installed, it launches the highest version:
        https://ninjatrader.com/support/help..._debugging.htm

After following the steps on that page, you can utilize the debugging tools available in Visual Studio. Otherwise, you could certainly choose to edit your code in Visual Studio rather than the NinjaScript Editor. If you choose to do so, you would want to open the project as shown in Step 2 from that page. When you are done editing, you should simply save the file from Visual Studio (not run or build). If you have a NinjaScript Editor open at the same time, once you save in Visual Studio this will compile the changes in the NinjaScript Editor as well.

For more general tips and resources on debugging NinjaScript, please see the pages below:
