    Playback of historical data issue

    Hello

    I continiously experiencing playback issue. Checked everything around multiple times but the playback behaves unpredictably - some time it start to play with no issues (quite rarely I may say).. sometime it won't to playback whatever I am trying to do. .

    Could you please help me to make it work properly and stable?
    I have historical data loaded for the period I am going to play with minutes and tick information

    and see that when I move to a certain moment, all data is there. But the playback doesnt work anyhow.

    I have closed all other windows.. removed all indicators, but nothing help.

    Thank you for reaching out.

    Watching the video, it appears like you are doing these steps correctly.

    When using Historical Data for playback, you also need to ensure that the Tick data is downloaded for the market data to play back on the Playback connection.
    • Right-click on the Playback Tile > Click "Show available data"
    • Click the + next to Historical Data > Keep clicking the + and find the Tick data for the Instrument you are looking at.
      • Is the Tick Data Downloaded for these days? If not, download the Historical Tick Data for those days.

    If the Historical Tick Data is there for those days but it is still not playing back, please open NinjaTrader in Safe Mode and perform the same test:

    Safe Mode will prevent NinjaTrader from:
    • Loading workspaces.
    • Connecting on start-up.
    • Loading custom assemblies.
    • Getting instrument updates from the server.
    To enable safe mode, please use the following steps:
    • Exit NinjaTrader.
    • Hold the Ctrl (Control) key and double click the NinjaTrader icon.
    • Keep the Ctrl (Control) key held down until you see the Control Center.
    • You can verify you are in safe mode by going to Help -> About.
    Once you have opened the platform in safe mode:
    • Reconnect to your Data Provider
    • Go to Control Center > Workspaces > New > Give this Workspace a unique name like "Test" and click OK
    • Open a new chart with no custom bar types/indicators/templates and test to see if the market data plays back as expected.
      • Is the market data still not playing back for those days or is it working as expected now.
    If it is working as expected, go to workspaces > save the workspace and then Restart NinjaTrader and open it like normal to test if it is still working.

    If it is not working still, please use the steps below to send us a message with your log and trace files attached so we may look into this behavior further:
    • Go to the Control Center > Help > Email Support
    • Select: Platform Technical Support
    • Enter the subject as: Clayton ATTN 03550634"
    • Include any additional information in the Body as desired
    • Ensure the "Log and trace files" box is checked
      • Send the email
