Trigger an alert when flag close under a target

Hello,
I'm trying to trigger an alert when price flag close, but the alert is triggered when the price touch the target. I mean, I need that the alert occur exactly if the "closed" price is less than a target (for example, bollinger down).

This is the configuration:



But the alert can occur in the second 32 (14:32:00). This is in the middle of the period, when the "closed" price is not occurred yet.

Thank you for your inquiry.

When Price type 'Close' is selected on the current bar, it is actually the Last price that is used and it will always trigger in real-time. If you want the alert to trigger after the close of the bar, you will need to use the 'Bars ago' property and set it to 1 for each condition. Technically, the alert will sound at the open of the next bar when conditions are true on the previous bar. This should be exactly what you are looking to achieve.

I have tested this solution but seems that not works fine.
The alarm is triggered even if only the minimum price is below the target.
One period of one minute have 4 prices: Low, Max, Open, Close. I need that the "Close" price is below the target.
I need that the last two flags have closed prices bellow Bollinger lower band, but instead of this, the flag only touch with the minimum price.

In the following pic, the red arrow shows the moment when the alarm occurs, but the two previous periods haven't the closed price below the Bollinger lower band in blue.

In the condition builder, are you using the 'If Any' or 'If All' condition? Can you provide a screenshot of the overall alert itself and not just the individual conditions so that I can test?

I have also tested the "Strategy Builder" and in this part of the program, it works fine, like I expected. I have been able to build a strategy that trigger an action when the two before flags are closed over a target.

When I test the less conditions that you provided on my own alert, it works as I would expect and only sounds when both of the previous bars had closed below the lower band. I see that you shared a screenshot of the alert configuration for the Boll UP and not the Boll DOWN. Can you also share a screenshot of the Boll DOWN alert so I can be sure I have the some configuration to test with?

I've tested these settings multiple times and have not experienced an situation where the alert sounded and the price of the previous 2 candles did not close below the lower band. The settings that you have are exactly what I have on my end. Are you able to reproduce this issue? If so, can you please provide a video of the issue occurring?

Hi Zachary, I can't to reproduce the issue again. I think that work fine now. Anyway, I use this conditions in a Strategy and works perfect.
