    issue with tick replay

    Hello

    Im having some issues with tick replay, for some reason when i open a new chart with 30 days of 5min data it opens fine, but when i check ,,tick replay,, it will only show 2 days of data and it does not matter what i put in ,,days to load,, i only get 2 days? any ideas?

    Thank you very much for your post.

    This would, most likely, indicate you only have two days of tick-based historical data available.

    When creating a minute-based chart, the platform requests minute data. This means it receives 5 values (open, high, low, close, volume) for each 60-second timeframe.

    As soon as Tick Replay is enabled, however, the platform will download historical tick data to rebuild the candles the same way they would have with real-time data.

    If your provider does not provide historical tick data going back further, this would then be identified by the missing data.

    If you are uncertain how much historical tick data your provider or brokerage supplies, please reach out to them directly.

      I’m with ninja trader brokerage and using cqg… this never been a problem before only started happening recently

        Could you send us your platform's log & trace files? I'd like to take a closer look at any reported errors or issues.

        You can do this by going to the Control Center -> Help -> Email Support
