    NT stops responding and has to be closed

    NT was working fine but now, usually after running the optimizer a few times, I get a windows message; "NT not responding; close NT or wait for application?"...
    So then I try waiting and sometimes it starts working again but most of the time, I have to Kill the NT process.

    This seems to have started after installing "SQL Server 2022", so I un-installed SQL but the problem is still there...

    I have "repaired" NT a few times but the problem still persists...

    So for now I have to restart NT every few runs... (very annoying)

    Anybody have a clue?

    Could you send us your platform's log & trace files? I'd like to take a closer look at this error.

    You can do this by going to the Control Center -> Help -> Email Support

    Please select "Platform Technical Support" as the recipient and enter a brief "ATTN Manfred" note in the message.

      Well, after reinstalling the NET 5.8 framework, it got somewhat better but still had issues..
      Then I went through the event logs, which indicated display driver issues and after reinstalling the current Nvidia drivers for my graphics card, things seem to be back to normal.. So far...
      Moral of the story: Create a system restore point before installing SQL Server 2022 (just in case)...
      >> I wouldn't bank on the restore actually working as it is very buggy...

      The really odd thing is that on my old Win 10 system, I had SQL server 2017 running with no issues.

        Thanks Manfred; the problem is still happening, just not as frequently... I sent the e-mail ( from [email protected] ) to platform support but forgot to put it to your attention.
        Let me know if I can give you any more info...
