joemiller, please try restoring them via right clicking in your Control Center > Properties > preset > restore > Ok / Apply.Last edited by NinjaTrader_Bertrand; 11-23-2016, 09:31 AM.BertrandNinjaTrader Customer Service

I think what you are looking for is this.
Double click the lines in the column headers. This will autofit that column, and it behaves much better than trying to manually adjust lines (in my experience).
I have highlighted your image with what I am talking about specifically.

So far Sledge's multiple click method is best ... but that is not as good as a single click ''preset restore''.
Please advise.

Thanks for chiming in sledge.
joemiller, correct currently the restore would only allow to restore to our default set widths here for the grids. We're looking into further if anything could be done and how we could improve and will post an update early next week.BertrandNinjaTrader Customer Service

not only that, but in my case ''preset save'' does not work either [assuming i am not doing something wrong] ... [i.e.] when i save a strategy's settings, then exit and restart the strategy, the settings i thought i had saved have not been saved?

Hello joemiller,
Thank you for your response.
Please send us your log and trace files with 'ATTN: Bertrand' in the subject line and a link to this thread in the body of the email.
You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support. Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.
