Must i upgrade from microsoft visual studio express to debug ninjascript?

i am trying to implement ninjascript debugging.

do i understand correctly that i cannot use my visual studio express version, but must upgrade to another version?

if i must upgrade, what is the cheapest and/or best version i should buy?

VS2015 Community Edition is the free, fully functional, version of VS2015 Pro.

i have downloaded vs2015 community edition.
may i merely now safely uninstall all other visual studio editions which are on my computer ... or must i perform more steps before doing so?

It may be possible to have different versions on the same computer, but, typically, I only ever have one version installed.

i too see no need for multiple versions.

may i therefore merely go ahead and simply uninstall all other versions, having just installed vs2015 community edition [i.e.] does the new version know where all my old visual studio files are [i.e] will i lose any or all my current old files?

Check the file locations to see if you can see your VS data in the indicated folders. If the data files are where VS2015 keeps its data files, you should be able to just uninstall previous versions. Of course, remember to make a backup first.
