I would like to add stock CFD's from Interactive Brokers to my Ninjatrader, but I need some help.
As I'm located in Sweden I trade my "home market", and I have a bunch of OMX Stockholm stock symbols in my Ninjatrader that works just fine.
But I would like to add IB's CFD's too but can't figure out symbol mapping.
I contacted IB support and they gave me this answer:
"CFD contract specifications in the TWS API are very similar to the underlying stock contract except with 'CFD' as the contract type, i.e.
Symbol: LUPE
SecType: CFD
Exchange: SMART
Currency: SEK
While this contract definition can be used to place orders, please not that IB does not generally offer market data for stock CFDs, so it could not be used to request market data.
NinjaTrader does have its own proprietary mapping system and symbology, unfortunately for assistance with the related NinjaTrader symbol it would be necessary to contact NinjaTrader directly."
Is it at all possible for me to trade the CFDs through Ninja?
