    Day charts won't load after hours

    NT loads my workspaces fine in the morning, but in the evening NT crashes. If I delete my workspaces, then NT loads fine. I can then add charts to a new workspace and everything is fine until I change the timeframe to 1-Day, then NT crashes again.

    In the mornings, I can reload my old workspaces and everything is fine again.

    To reproduce this issue (has to be done in the evening/night time):
    1, Delete all workspaces
    2, Create a new 5-min chart for CL
    3, Switch the chart to 1-Day

    I have tried deleting all the data in the /db folder. This didnt help.

    This problem is very annoying to me as I do a lot of analysis work at night. Please help.

    Thanks for posting.

    I have tested this a few times on my end and have not yet reproduced this, but my test may be slightly different than yours.

    Who are you connected to for data when you see this behavior?

    Is there a specific time window that this can be tested during, or does any time in the evenings work? What time do you typically start seeing this behavior?

    Are any custom add-on's applied to this chart when this occurs?

      I am connected to NinjaTrader Continuum for data.

      I see this behavior in the evenings, I would say roughly from 5 to midnight for me (California time). I typically close out of NT after markets close. Then when I launch NT in the evening is when NT starts to crash as I described.

      This happens even if I just have 1 default chart that is set to 1 day interval.

        At this point I would like to check for any error messages.

        So that I may investigate I would ask that you contact me by email at PlatformSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace files. You will find these diagnostic file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Trace folder. I will need to review a copy of the files which are named 'trace.20161205.XXXXX.txt'. There will likely be multiple files for each day.
