Manual Diamonds are TOO big

Is there a way to change the size. They are much bigger than
NT7

Would this be an instrument tick size that you are referring to? If not, what in the platform is too large?

Drew - The diamond in NT8 ( approx 1 Tick in height) is twice the size of the Diamond in NT7 ( approx 1/2 tick in height ) see attached. and if you look close you can see that in NT8 it totally obliterates from view the bar behind it.

Thanks for your note.

These diamonds would be drawn with Draw.Diamond(), which would not have a size input. As a workaround, you could create your own Diamond in OnRender, and I'm also happy to submit a feature request regarding this item. More information on Draw.Diamond() can be found at the below link:

Are you saying that ,

The Manual Chart Marker Diamond,
1) is done by Ninja using the same NinjaScript tool we have access to
2) We can override the manual chart marker Diamond tool with our own code using OnRender()?

Please confirm if I understand you correctly.

1. That would be correct.
2. You would be creating a new object entirely, that would likely be added among your indicators.

2) I am talking about the Manual Chart Marker Diamond. Not something done by my indicators.
The pictures drawn are by NT7 and NT8 manual draw tool. Someone decided for what ever reason that the NT8 diamond should be bigger than NT7's. That doesn't make it better.

If I can fairly easily add a drawing tool either with a different template settings to the Existing menu and/or with special drawing capability( smaller diamond using OnRender()) Such that I can also Attach this to a function key as the current drawing tools are. I am very interested in anything links, samples etc. You could supply me with
