slow loading data

Hello,

I was running nt7 on windows xp and was asking to reload historical data or retrieve data from previous session with a connection to ib and it takes at least 5 minutes for a small data chart.

I bought a new laptop 16gb ram with nt 8 and damn it still takes a while to load the data.

Before this summer it was taking maybe a minute or two.

Is it me or IB is getting slower on data loading?

There you will find some suggestions that can help you fine tune your NinjaTrader installation to run optimally.

If the issue becomes unreasonable please send your log and trace files to platform support so that we may look into what occurred.

You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.

Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.
