Market Analyzer doesn't show live account positions

    Market Analyzer doesn't show live account positions

    Market Analyzer isn't showing positions from the live accounts. It only shows positions from the SIM101 account.

    This issue is the same as this thread from NT7: http://ninjatrader.com/support/forum...ad.php?t=63847

    However, the solution for NT7 is no longer available in NT8.

    I'm using NT 8.0.2.0.

    The live positions are visible in the Account Data > Positions tab so I know NT is aware of them.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I tested this on my end and I can confirm I am seeing the same behavior, I'll forward on to our Development team to look into further. It will likely be resolved in the next release of NinjaTrader 8.

      Hi Eric, never mind. I figured it out. Thanks for the quick reply.

      The instructions for NT7 were missing a few key words I think which threw me off.

      In NT8 you can choose the account by opening the Market Analyzer Columns configuration, selecting "Position Size" under the "Configured" panel and then choosing the account from the "Set up" properties in the right panel.

        I had been unable to make the selection on my end when testing, but it appears it will work after a restart. I'll continue to test to narrow the issue and post here if I find any bug that might hinder you, glad to hear it is now working for you!

          Might I suggest a feature where the user can easily select (from a dropdown perhaps) which account to display position info from? For those of us trading multiple live accounts the steps above are rather tedious. Not a deal-breaker though.
