    Timezone Export issue

    Hi NT8,

I know your exported data is supposed to be in UTC time, however this is not working for some reason.

My computer's local time is East Coast (UTC−05:00). I exported ZN 03-16's Ask Tick data and the beginning of the resulting file showed up as UTC-1:00 instead of UTC. See 1.jpg for example.

Whats even more weird is that the issue corrects itself later on in the file. Attached 2.jpg is from a later part of the same exported file as 1.jpg. Notice that 2.jpg does not have 1.jpg's issue.

Any idea what is causing this issue?

    Thanks

    P.S.
-The data I am exporting was downloaded from your CQG Continuum server.
    -I am using NT8 version 8.0.2.0 64-bit

    Hello Matheyas5,

Can you please check if you still experience the issue with our latest NinjaTrader 8 version (8.0.3.1). You can download and install it from the link below.

      Hi Jason,

I just updated to 8.0.3.1 64-bit and am still having the issue.

(Note: I did the update via downloading the file in the link you sent and running it. Were there any additional steps I needed to do before running the mentioned file (such as uninstall 8.0.2.0 64-bit)? Either way, it now says 8.0.3.1 64-bit when I open NT8 on my computer and click the "about" tab.)

There are no additional steps required to install the latest NinjaTrader 8 version.

Can you please send me all your log and trace files so I can investigate. Log and trace files can be found at the following locations. Right click the log and trace folder and select Send to-->Compressed (zipped) folder. Subsequently attach both .zip files in your email and send it to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com. Put 'Att Jason, 1648977' in the subject header.

Hi Jason, I think I figured out what the issue is.

UTC time does not have daylight savings time, but my computers local time (EST time) does.
