Modifying an order once Im in the market

    Hi,
If I enter an order but have forgotten to select my ATM strategy, is there an easy way to add a stop loss and target, once my order has been accepted and is live?

    Thanks.

    Hello Grantx,

To add an ATM strategy to an unprotected open position, please follow the steps below.

    - Select the Positions tab of the Control Center.
    - Right click on the position.
    - Select Apply ATM Strategy and then select the desired ATM.
    - Now your position will have ATM applied to it.

Unfortunately you cannot add an ATM strategy to an active order. You could cancel it and submit a new order with your ATM strategy attached or wait until your order fills and then add the ATM strategy in the Control Center-->Positions-tab.

Once I have done applied the ATM, it doesnt show the stop loss or target level on my chart, but I do see it in the DOM. How do I get it to reflect on the chart as well?

Could it be ChartTrader is not enabled in the chart? Please click the 5th icon from the right in the chart toolbar to enable ChartTrader. Make sure the proper account is selected and check if you see your open position and active ATM orders.

              Hi,
I'm wondering if this Apply AtmStrategy capability is available from NinjaScript?

                Hello saltminer,

This is not currently a documented/exposed item for NinjaScript, I have put in a feature request to have this exposed to NinjaScript and documented. SFT-4017

I look forward to being of further assistance.
