    Hello saeed,

Thank you for posting in our forum.

To remove the text found in the top left corner of a chart window, please remove the labels from your indicators:
-Right click in your chart window and select Indicators...
-Select one of your configured indicators in the bottom left hand section by left clicking once
-In the parameters to the right, please delete any text found in the Label field
-Once you have done this for all of your indicators, click OK

If I may assist further please let me know.

        Hello ClauTrade,

        Thank you for your post.

Since there is currently no way to remove the strategy parameters on your chart, I have submitted this as a feature request to the Development Team. I will follow up with an internal tracking number for your reference as soon as it is created.

        Thank you for your suggestion.

          Hello! thanks... is a shame.

I'm using Type Converter in a complex strategy with multi-parameter, the parameter window is very clean but the chart is a disaster!

Sure is easy to hide text from chart, I hope to see soon this feature.

Not understand, could I receive news about? (mail or in this thread)

          Many thanks for fast support!

            Hello ClauTrade,

            Thank you for your reply.

After looking further into this, I discovered the following: Putting quotes in the Label fields of your strategies should remove the parameter numbers from the chart. However, a bug in NInjaTrader 8 is preventing this from happening, which will be addressed in a future release of the platform.

In other words, typing "" in the Label field of your Strategy should remove both the label and the parameter numbers from the chart. However, currently a bug is preventing this from happening. Our developers are aware of this issue and it will be corrected in an upcoming release of NInjaTrader 8.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

              Hello Micah,

thanks for your interest, I have try but maybe I do not understand.

I have various parameters: int, brush, double, BarPeriodType ...etc, I try type "" in the label "Name" of the strategy code, in the label value of the property window (when open the strategy) and some other site but not work, I get error or I cannot type it (do not accept string).

Could you tell me more about. Could you send me an example please?

              Many Thanks.

Thank you for your reply. This feature is currently non functional in NinjaTrader 8. It currently only works for strategies in NinjaTrader 7.

This is a known bug and will be fixed in a future release of NinjaTrader 8. Currently there is no workaround solution to remove the strategy parameters from your charts in NinjaTrader 8.

Thank you for your patience and understanding.

                  Ok Micah,

sorry... I did not understand you was talking about NT7.

I'll wait for the new release. Thanks!

                    Hello,
i have the same question and use NT8. I want the input data and label from the indicators not to be displayed in the upper row of the chart window.
I tried the trick with quoting the Label field. That works, but the quoted label is displayed. Example: Label: "MyIndicator"
Will display "MyIndicator" in the chart. If i delete the contents of the label field the chart stays clean. Only downside is, this way i can not give my indicators meaningful names.
In the active indicators window for a chart i just see the standard name of the indicator.

Therefor, my feature request is to have a toggle to display the label or not on the chart, like the visible toggle.
                    thanks.

Hello autogenix, thank you for your note.

I will submit a feature request to add the option to preserve the label in the indicators window and have it invisible from the chart.

                      Best regards.

                          Hello,

                          Has SFT-4153 been implemented?
Also, is there a way to disable the label from code, not from the properties menu? It seems the indicator does not have a Label property when you try to access it....

Hi DieSlower, thanks for your question.

Edit: There is a "Label" field in the indicator settings. You can remove this label and the configuration name will stay the same.

The DisplayName property can be overridden, but this will remove the label from the configuration menu.

                            Kind regards.

The DisplayName override actually worked perfect for me!
                              Thank you!
