Account Groups for NT8

Yes please, bring back Accounts! A good reason is with more and more OPM firms (trade Other People's Money), it would be so great to have accounts at each and be able to trade them all. A few years ago places like TopStepTrader allowed ONLY Ninjatrader to be used, nowadays eSignal and a bunch of others are allowed. This could help lock people into Ninjatrader if they could do multiple accounts. It sure would lock me in. Looking elsewhere right now to see if others allow it. No brainer if they do...

In NT7 there is a line under NOTE in Guide "Account Groups"

NOTE: Subsequent cancellations and or order modifications will NOT be replicated against each order, you must manage each replicated order individually.

Does it mean that we can only place the trade in all accounts in group but we can not modify or delete in all accounts in group? Is that clear?. If this is then what is the fun to have Group accounts.

BobyGill - Yeah, I don't believe 'Account Groups' was ever fully implemented in NT7, hence why usage was low to nil ...I believe they are eventually going with FA (Financial Advisor) account support in NT8, which would be "fully" implemented in SFT-3780 (See https://ninjatrader.com/support/forum/node/1050257) -- this will essentially replace Account Groups, but have similar functionality with trade management (modifications/cancellation reflected on all accounts simultaneously) fully integrated [Hopefully]. There are challenges with the order logic for sub/linked accounts, which is why it's taking so long (as far as I'm aware) - and I'm not sure which Brokers will initially be supported for this 'completed' feature (pretty sure their own broker and IBKR will be supported). Add a vote to https://ninjatrader.com/support/forum/node/1050257 and tell everyone you know - lol.
