Trying to restore Ninja Trader 7

Hello,

im trying to restore ninja trader 7 from my desktop computer to my new laptop.

the problem im experiencing is when i go to utilities>Restore and select the file it starts to load then after a couple of seconds im displayed a error prompt "NinjaTrader was unable to restore the selected backup archive file: CRC mismatch"

can someone please help me fix this issue?

Thank you for your post.

This error usually points to a corrupted file. CRC stands for Cyclical Redundancy Check which is a content integrity check.

To try and resolve this issue, please create a new backup file on your original machine and then try restoring onto your new laptop. Also, before creating the backup please ensure that you have added the NinjaTrader application and/or the NinjaTrader folders to the exclusions/exceptions list for any security software being run on this machine.

The NinjaTrader folder is located under the Documents folder in windows.
