I have an active Barchart data feed account. The user name as required starts with NT, and Barchart support confirm that the account is correctly configured for live US equity data. Barchart support have assured me that they are able to pull data using my account credentials. The account is also correctly configured in Ninja.
After clicking the Connections menu item and then MyBarchart, the connection status indicator in the lower left corner of the main NinjaTrader window turns green and the Market Analyzer window I have open loads new data. The two charts I have also populate with the latest data. Then, as soon as this data is loaded, the connection to the Barchart feed is lost and the connection status indicator turns red. From this point, I get no live data either in the charts or Market Analyzer.
In order to get refreshed data, I have to disconnect from Barchart and reconnect.
I am running Kaspersky Internet Security and have checked all settings and see no application restrictions. I have marked NinjaTrader as a trusted application and no IP addresses are blocked.
Does anyone have ideas as to what is going on?
I'm running Ninja in simulation mode (i.e., the license type is Simulation and the key ends with ... 705D-1952).
