Error saving/loading strategy templates

Hi
So, in strategy analyser, I am being able to save a strategy's parameters into a template.
But when I select to load this template, the parameters are not loaded. I am able to select this template in the popup window, but the parameters are not loaded.
I even noticed that sometimes this template wouldn't be available in the load screen.

Trying to fix this issue, I uninstalled NT8, downloaded the latest version, but the same issue is going on.

The weird part is that I was being able to load templates earlier today, but suddenly this bug happened.

Are you able to replicate this issue using the SampleMACross strategy preloaded with NinjaTrader? I’ve put together a video showing I’m unable to replicate the issue.

I wasn't able to reproduce this issue on strategy SampleMACrossOver.
Debugging my code, I found out the problem was happening because I was declaring some instance variables as "public". As soon as I switched them to "private", I could load templates normally.

I find this a very weird behavior, hope you can verify this.

It would be expected in your user definable variables were incorrectly defined as private rather than public, strategy templates would not act as expected.

Hi, I also ran into this issue and had to correct by changing some instance variables from public to private.

However, my symptom was that I was unable to save a Strategy template. So, when I clicked Save, it would bring me back to the prior window like it completed but when I tried to load my template, it wasn't there.

Please submit a feature request/bug report to have NJT echo an error or write something to the Log that the save failed due to this reason so the user can correct the problem.
