First, how do I look at the ninja coding for an indicator? I obviously was able in Nov when I tried writing these 2 but cant now.
Ninja 7 was easy to get to but I don't see how on Ninja 8.
Also, from the attached I tried writing 2 indicators for Ninja 8 last November but gave up on trying Ninja 8 in favor of 7. I compiled them I'm almost certain, and see them in Documents/NinjaTrader8/bin/custom/Indicators but they do not show up when I try and find them on my indicators list to put on a chart.
I was able to import a file from the Indicator Development pages here that I could load I just cant access what I wrote. On the attachment it's the last 2 that come after the Z's that are incl with Ninja 8.

To view the code of a script in NinjaTrader 8, in the Control Center, go to New > NinjaScript Editor.


Double click the folder that represents the file type you want, and select the script you want to see.

I was trying to match my Ninja 7 Dom settings with Ninja 8 choices.
Ninja 7's last choice Is 'Use stop mkt for stop loss orders-- True.
I don't see that as a choice on Ninja 8's Dom--how do I make that be in effect?

like I thought, my script is there and it did compile but does not show on the chart list of indicators to pick from. why not?

The CandleStickDoji code is a ChartStyle not an indicator so it would not show up in your indicator list, it would be under Chart > Data Series > Chart Style

Thanks and maybe I didn't actually write that afterall because I have a doji program in 7 that's is just an indicator. I loaded it and it just recolors my up/down bars but all I wanted was dojis to be yellow and the code never gets into that.

GMMA is what I really care about, That's just 12 EMAs and is definitely an indicator. If something compiles why wont it show up?
