    refresh historical data

    Hello,

    Why in historical data under instrument february 2017 es17-03 data dont update?

    Since i logged at 8:03 data dont update automatically like it was before with NT7.
    You must reload all historical data from the chart to get data from 8:03 to now 8:23.

    BTW the reload hist is extremely slow at least 2 minutes for 30 days of data. It use to be quicker and my laptop is windows 10, 12gb ram.

    Any explaination?

    Who are you connected to? This is displayed in green on lower left corner of the Control Center window.

    Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

    To troubleshoot, I suggest resetting your instruments.

    * Disconnect from any active datafeed: Navigate to the Control Center > Connections menu, left-click the ‘disconnect’ button that appears to the right of any active connection.
    * Reset your instruments: Navigate to the Control Center > Tools > Database window, left-click to expand the ‘Update instrument lists’ section, ensure ‘Predefined instrument lists’ is checked, then left-click the Update button that appears just to the right of the two options in this section.
    * Restart NinjaTrader.

      still not working

      I am connected to IB.
      There is no error messages during connection in the log.

      I did what you suggested by updating, disconnecting and restart but it did not change anything.

        Are you able to receive real-time data for this futures contract in TWS?

        Just to make sure, are you loading the "ES 03-17" futures contract?

          Yes i am receiving live feed fromTWS.

          ES 03-17 futures contract

          The chart update but not the historical data unless i hit the reload hist data button in the chart right click.

            I suggest making sure that you have the correct version of TWS installed and have configured it per our connection guide.

            If you still see the same, please write into to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]Com along with your log and trace files and a link to this forum post.

            Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.

            * Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
            * Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
            * Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
            * Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
