1. In the positions window I don't see the commission\spread for the trade. Where can I find it?

2. When an ATM goes to breakeven does it cover the commission\spread?

3. Can an ATM strategy be configured to execute on the close of a bar?

Hello GibbsB613,

1. You could view the spread in the SuperDOM by checking the bid and ask prices. Unfortunately there is no display for the spread in the Control Center-->Positions-tab nor does it show commission. You can apply commission templates to accounts to have commission calculated in NinjaTrader. Please see the link below for information.

You can create trade reports at Control Center-->New-->Trade Performance. If you have a commission template applied for your account, you can see commission costs in the trade report. Please see the following link for more information regarding the Trade Performance window.

2. When the Auto Breakeven triggers, it will modify the stop loss to your entry price and so it does not cover commission or spread. You can use the Plus setting of the AutoBreakeven to adjust the stop loss above breakeven.

3. Unfortunately this is not supported. ATM orders are submitted after your entry order fills.

The problem is the spread changes, right? How do I know what the spread was when the positioned was opened without jumping through hoops? This seems like a major oversight.

You can view this in the FX Pro and FX Board window between the bid and ask prices.

What tells me what the spread was when the position was opened? Our does your spread never change?

Hello GibbsB613,
To see the spread at the specific time you will have to open an ask/bid chart chart and find the specific time. You may also view this info within the Historical Data Manager. NinjaTrader will not report ask/bid prices automatically for historical trades.
