    Hello joemiller,

Thank you for posting in our forum!

You can only copy and paste chart objects within the same chart window. However, in the drawing tools properties menu, you can attach a drawing object to all charts of the same instrument.

To get to the drawing tools Properties menu, double click on the drawing object. Next, under Attach to, select <XZY instrument>(All Charts).

Additionally, you can save the drawing object within a chart template, and then load that template on the other chart(s). To save/load a chart template, right click within your chart window and select Templates.

Please let me know if you have any additional questions.

      Regarding:
''Additionally, you can save the drawing object within a chart template, and then load that template on the other chart(s). To save/load a chart template, right click within your chart window and select Templates.''

I tried to do as directed by creating a new chart template with the text box object displayed on the chart. i then applied that new chart template to another chart, but the text box still does not appear on that chart?

      Please advise

        Thank you for your reply.

After testing on my side, the method of saving your drawing object within a chart template is only realistic with instruments whose prices are similar. Otherwise the drawing appears far from the price action on the chart and is out of view.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

can i somehow drag the out of view object into view ... or is it that i simply will be unable to do it?

Thank you for your reply. Yes, if you can find the drawing object, you can definitely drag it back into view. However, this process will likely take longer than just recreating the chart object in your new chart.

If you have any additional questions please let me know.
