Indicator Deleted but Still Appear on Indicator List

Hi There,
I have deinstalled an indicator, restarted NT8. Indicator was deinstalled as expected that means he is not in the X:\$User\Dokumente\NinjaTrader 8\bin\Custom\Indicators directory nor in other directories I went through.

On the Chart it appears in the indicator list and can be installed.

Please see attached pictures.

I can't imagine what to do else in order to get this cleaned up.

Thanks for your post.

When you compile any ninjascript file, all of the files are compiled at the same time. If a source file is in the wrong folder this can cause the condition you have. For example if you move an indicator source file to a strategy folder and recompile the file will not show in the NS editor explorer window of indicators but would show in the indicators available list. To be clear you cannot move an indicator file to a strategy folder using the NS explorer window, however this can be done using windows file explorer.

It is also possible that the indicator is named differently than the source file name. The source file name will be shown in the Ninjascript Explorer window while the indicator class name would be shown in the indicators list.

In either case you will need to go through each folder and in each added file, to find the source file that has public class (indicator name you are looking for). Hopefully, the indicator source file name has the same name as the public class name, if not it will be tedious to find.
