NT8 Optimization Speed - Anyone seeing improvement?

Has anyone experienced any improvement in optimization time on NT8 vs NT7? On my 64 bit 4 core PC running optimization on the same strategy, I believe NT7 may actually faster than NT8.

I was hoping that NT8 would give me quicker results since some optimizations can take a long time. So far I'm disappointed and wondered what other experiences others are having out there? Is it just me?

There are many settings in the NinjaTrader 8 Strategy Analyzer which did not exist in NinjaTrader 7 that could increase the time it takes to complete the test. Namely, tick replay and historical fill processing.

Can you include a screenshot of the settings of your optimization?

Are you running a custom strategy or a built-in strategy?

If it is custom, could you run the exact same optimization using the built-in Sample MA Crossover?

Stand corrected

Attached are pictures showing NT7 and NT8 results and settings for amoving average crossover strategy optimization. NT7 took around 5.5 minutes and NT8 around 4 minutes. Looks like NT8 is faster. I'm glad to see this.
