Ninjatrader 8 Crashes on Startup

    Ninjatrader 8 Crashes on Startup

    Hi,

    Ninjatrader now keeps crashing on startup.
    I tried to uninstall/re-install, no joy.
    Crashes with external monitor, and also with no external monitor.
    Windows 10 Pro v1607 14393.693
    Microsoft Surface book.
    Crashes at startup, here is how it looks:





    I tried deleting my workspaces.xml, and it replaces it with this:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <NinjaTrader>
    <OpenWorkspaces>
    <OpenWorkspace>Untitled1</OpenWorkspace>
    </OpenWorkspaces>
    <ActiveWorkspace>Untitled1</ActiveWorkspace>
    </NinjaTrader>

    Also please find enclosed logs and trace.

    Hello Clydewallace,

    Thank you for your post,

    To test, please navigate to the Documents > "NinjaTrader 8" folder. Rename the "config" file here as "config.old" and restart NinjaTrader.

    This is where the license key and connections are stored, so NinjaTrader will start without the connections and with the @Sim key entered..

    Try launching NinjaTrader 8 again, are you able to launch normally?
