Saving multiple charts naming convention

Hi, I save multiple charts throughout the day. It would be great if Ninja would save the instrument name with a timedate stamp so I dont have to manually edit every single image that is saved to hard drive.
Ninja saves only the date so subsequent saves of the same chart prompts me to rename it.

Can you guys do this?

Hello Grantx,

Are you referring to the Workspace name or the template name of Chart Templates?

New workspaces will by default have the name Untitled with an increment to make sure the workspace name is unique.
When saving this will continue using the same name you have named it.
Are you wanting the save link in the Workspaces menu to cause NinjaTrader to automatically save using a different name with the date-time stamp in the name to cause a new workspace to be generated each time you save?

I think Grantx is referring to the Save Chart Image filename, which includes the date but not the time.

Hi Chelsea, yes I am. I save a lot of images. I use ALT+S keyboard combination to quickly save images. Problem is every image has the same name for the day. It would be absolutely smashing if you can put a minute and second timestamp in by default so that I can just bang away and keep saving images without wasting time editing names.

For future reference, your request to include the date-time stamp in "Save chart image" by default is being tracked with ID #SFT-2106.

Please note it is up to the NinjaTrader Development to decide if and when a request will be implemented.
