Download Data for UK listed instruments

    Hello,
I would like to analyse some UK equity indexes in NT8. Am I able to download the data using the Kinetick free daily data or Yahoo Finance? Do I need to have any special subscriptions, apart from the basic futures subscription with Continuum to download the data? I am looking to download data for the following at the moment:
    Jupiter Asian Income Inc
    JPM US Equity Income Fund
    Old Mutual UK Smaller Cos

    Thank you

    Hello GeorgeW,

    Thank you for your post,

It may be possible to get this data from Kinetick, the Yahoo connection in NinjaTrader does not offer index data. The below link will show all the NinjaTrader-supported data feeds and the market they support.

See "Understanding the Data Supplied by your Connectivity Provider"

    https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...y_provider.htm

Below, I've copied a list of the supported indices offered by Continuum.

    http://ninjatrader.com/CQGSupportedIndexes

I'll forward your note to the Kinetick team to see if these are able to accessed.

We look forward to assisting further.

      Hello GeorgeW,

I have checked the instrument database for Kinetick but I was not able to find any of the index symbols that you listed. If you can locate these indexes on Yahoo Finance, then it should be possible to receive daily data into NinjaTrader. Here is a video tutorial from the NinjaTrader YouTube Channel that will show you how to add instruments from Yahoo Finance:

Kinetick EOD doesn't provide data for some USA stocks

        Hello,
I noticed that the free Kinetick EOD connection, provided with NT8 for free, doesn't access to the data of many stocks. Although they are traded in USA trading exchanges.
For instance SYN (NYSE), TRVN (Nasdaq), AVXL(Nasdaq), etc.
Is there any other constrain besides the fact that the stock must be traded in USA? for instance market capitalization, industrial sector, or whatever other condition.
Is it the same situation for a paying subscriber to Kinetick?

          Hello gofortips,

You will just need to add these ticker symbols to the instrument database before you are able to receive live data from Kinetick. Equities can be added to the NinjaTrader instrument database by typing the instrument symbol followed by the exchange onto an open chart and pressing the "Enter" key on your keyboard. For example, you can type "TRVN NASDAQ" to add the ticker symbol "TRVN" mapped to the NASDAQ.

Let me know if I may be of further assistance.

            Hello,
That's great, I only need to add the tickers I'm interested in.
            Just one more question:
Is there some way to introduce more than one stock at a time?
I detected many tickers not listed in the Kinetick's database and I'd like to introduce them together.

              Hello gofortips,

It would also be possible to import a list of stock ticker symbols with the steps detailed at the link below:
