ATM Strategy Issue

Hello,

I am now trading Forex; I used to only trade futures. While trading futures I created many ATM Strategies for different markets and strategies.

Now that I will be trading Forex, I need to create many more ATM Strategies. But my current list of ATM Strategies is already a little overwhelming.

Is there a way that I can separate all my futures ATM Strategies from my Forex AMT Strategies?

I tried created a new folder called FX in my AtmStrategy directory, but I didn't see it when I started to create a new Forex ATM Strategy.

Will NT8 recognize and allow me to access folders that I created in the AtmStrategy directory? If not, is there another way to separate out my FX and futures ATM Strategies?

Thank you for your post.

There is no option to separate the ATM Strategies in folders or by instrument type. You can try using a naming convention that includes the instrument type in the name first. For example: "FuturesPT8SL4"

Thanks for the reply and for the info.

When I create ATM Strategies for Forex, do I need to create an ATM Strategy for each different currency pair, or can I create generic AMT Strategies that will apply to all of them.

For example, with the ATM Strategy attached, I used it to trade the EURCHF; could I also use it to trade all the other currency pairs, or would I need to create a different ATM Strategy for each currency pair?
