Chart cut off after maximizing window and switching tab

    Steps to reproduce issue.
    1. Have multiple tabs on same chart window.
    2. Maximize the chart window.
    3. Switch to another tab.
    4. The chart of the new tab would be missing data on the left side briefly.

The is most noticeable when the market is slow and it takes a while for price to move up or down.

The chart would return to normal when
    - there is a price tick on the chart.
    - or when if I manually drag the chart around a bit.

I think the problem is that NT8 does not refresh the chart data when switching tabs. Instead it waits for some sort activity on the chart before updating. So when I maximize the window, there is not enough data to fill the entire chart.

Note that the problem also occurs when going from maximized to normal window. But it's less noticeable. In this case, if the maximized chart covers a bigger price range than the normal sized windows, then the price scale of the chart would be stuck on the maximized chart's scale briefly.

      Hello,

      Thanks for your patience.

I have had mixed results while testing this matter so far, and I believe there may be another factor at play here.

So that I may investigate I would ask that you contact me by email at PlatformSupport [AT] NinjaTrader [DOT] com. In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace files. You will find these diagnostic file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Trace folder. I will need to review a copy of the files which are named 'trace.20170411.XXXXX.txt'. There will likely be multiple files for each day.
