NT8 Custom Indicators jumps to the right end

Hi
With NT7 I could load the indicators X bars ago and scroll to the right, while the indicators react to the data.
NT8 shows my custom indicators in the right end only.
What should I do in order to bring my indicators back in time?

Could you provide further details and a screenshot of this behavior in NinjaTrader 7 and the behavior that is seen in NinjaTrader 8?

To send a screenshot with Windows 7 or newer I would recommend using Window's Snipping Tool.

Alternatively to send a screenshot press Alt + PRINT SCREEN to take a screenshot of the selected window. Then go to Start--> Accessories--> Paint, and press CTRL + V to paste the image. Lastly, save as a jpeg file and send the file as an attachment.

Tried to describe that using NT7 I could draw the indicator back in time, but with NT8 it displays only at the end of data series

To be clear on this, you are wanting NinjaTrader to allow you to move the scroll bar to the right and see the indicators re-act to each new bar in view, correct?

Print Staments and Draw Objects not in sync with right end of chart when scrolling

I also want to stress the importance of this functionality that is missing in NT8. Draw Objects as well as print statements must update bar by bar in sync with the right end of the chart when scrolling (to the right). It's not helpful at all to have all Draw Objects and print statements updated for the entire data period at once when you open the chart or "Reload NinjaScript", as is now the case in NT8.

The scrolling functionality is essential when you:
- try to learn discretionary trading and practice to predict the right side of the chart with price action bar by bar
- want to review a trading day that you have traded at the end of the day
- develop custom indicators and want to check that they behave as expected and when you need to trouble shoot them

Please fix this scrolling issue and make sure that it also will work for secondary bars objects in MTF scripts (which was not the case in NT7).

In my opinion this is the same request as above that already has the tracking ID: SFT-604. The only thing I would like to add is that it also should work for secondary bars objects in MTF scripts.

@NinjaTrader_PatrickH, can you please add my vote to the request ID: SFT-604 (since I'm not allowed to post in the NT8 beta thread above)

You can hardly be expected to know every single request that is being handled by NTDevelopment, but this is really the 3rd request for this, and frankly, any developer who actually trades, and does not see why this is a high priority issue needs to have his credentials reexamined.

The ability to step through a chart bar-by-bar was in NT7. Its absence is NT8 is unconscionable, and should never even have been a consideration.

So far, NT8 has been wide open for developers, and nobody can top how grateful I am to see that, but testing while developing in NT8 is an exercise in masochism.

Nope. Nowhere near the same thing. This is manually stepping through/advancing the chart bar by bar, so that you can see why in the blue hell, and where, your hitherto seemingly perfect code, is producing some strange value way out of left field.
