8.0.6.1 Locked up on first run to reload data

After backup up everything but data.
I renamed Settings folder and uninstalled 8.0.5.2
I Installed 8.0.6.1 and then started it, Imported everything back in.
I connected and it went thru reloading data. That is when I noticed
that some settings were not the same. I changed then and it locked up
with an error on calling set state method. Object reference not set to instance of object.


This was second install. The first was missing a bunch of keys, I think because I did not uninstall. So I deleted new settings folder, uninstalled. and it installed ok but locked up to where I had to kill it with the task schedular.

Each time I reboot i get a host of errors. The Original issue seems fixed but I see other problems going on not withstanding the host of error messages on reboot .

In your message please include a link to this forum thread and a copy of today's trace files. You will find these diagnostic file in the Documents > NinjaTrader 8 > Trace folder. I will need to review a copy of the files which are named 'trace.20170425.XXXXX.txt'. There will likely be multiple files for each day.

I had the same problem and it was related to a new custom skin that I had created with old NinjaTrader 8 version.

No custom skin. I can't keep this version up and running very long until it crashes.
