    NT Charts do not update the current price

    I have Ameritrade and Intreactive Brokers accounts and datafeeds. Before switching to NT Brokerage, I wanted to prepare every indicator and strategys.

    I connect to one of those or both at the same time, NT8 downloads the historical intraday data but than nothing happens.Charts do not update. If hit reload historical data button again, it brigns current historical data and stops there again ?

    I have demo account with Ninjatrader. What could be the problem? Did anybody experienced same problem ?

    Hello Jkt70,

    What version of NinjaTrader are you using? You can check under Help -> About (Example: 7.0.1000.X or 8.0.X.0)

    What instrument (and expiry if applicable) have you selected?

    What interval is selected on the chart?

    Do you receive an error on screen? Are there errors on the Log tab of the Control Center? If so, what do these errors report?

      Which TDA securities are you using? I've seen this before. Someone posted one here.

      I have no problems with SPY, $VIX.X, $TRIN.

        Hi again,

        My version 8.0.5.2 64-bit (Multi-Broker) _ DEMO NT8 Account.

        My main instrument is ES. I thought mayb I was doing something wrong with symbols and started to test stocks lately. SPY APPL etc.

        I usually use 1 min candlesticks.

        No I don't see any error messages. When I first connect , it downloads the history and works fine for a few minutes. Than it stops updating. Whenever I hit the download history button, it brings current data but do not update.

        I took a screenshot. ( with another charting ) to see where we are at. as you can see, it worked almost a minute and stopped. I am connected to TDA account as it can be seen at the bottom of the screenshot.

        Sledge Thank you for you post as well. I will dig little bit further in the forum .

        ** TDA or IB. doesn't matter. Same issue is happning on both datefeeds.

          Hmmm. .. you might want to have them remote into your machine.

            Hello Jkt70,

            Please send me your log and trace files so that I may look into what occurred.

            You can do this by going to the Control Center-> Help-> Mail to Platform Support.

            Ensuring 'Log and Trace Files' is checked will include these files. This is checked by default.
