    DateTime formatting in Drawing config

    Hi,
I found some Datetimes in NT8 have invalid formatting, that does not reflect locale settings in Win7.

Please have a look at the issue:

Problem is, that NT8 displays AM/PM, but Win 7 has format 24/7.

    Here are Windows 7 settings,
so you can compare and reproduce this issue.

This problems happens also in other dialogs across whole NT8.
It is everywhere wrong = - not local issue in dialogs above.

If possible, try to reproduce this issue and confirm this issue please.

    Best regards
    Misova

    Hello misova,

Thank you for reporting. I experience the same on my end in the Drawing Objects menu. However when I check the Control Center-->Orders or Log tabs, it does show time as setup in Windows. There is no AM/PM listed there. Time also uses 24/7 format in the Data Box.

Can you please tell me in what other dialog windows you see the issue as well.

      I can confirm, that
formatting of datetime in Log tab is correct = according to Win7 locale.

Occurences of wrong date is also in:
      • Historical Data -> Tab Load -> Start Date = not accorging to Win7 locale

There can be much more occurences of course - one above is just for example.
Probably each date / datetime field in NT8 GUI will need to be checked.

        Thank you for clarifying.

When I check the start and end dates in the Historical Data-->Load-tab, it shows YYYY-MM-DD on my end. Do you see this date format in the PC clock display?

So far I only see the issue in the Drawing Objects window and will send a report to development. I will keep an eye out on other dates/times. If you see another discrepancy, please let me know.

          Hi Jason,

See the differences between system vs NT8 date/time formatting.
This shows, that NT8 does not match Win7 locale settings.
