    Cross Hairs

    The cross hair in NT8 is lagging, pretty much useless as it is. My machine is a i7 quadcore with 32 gig of RAM.

    I'm also using a GeForce GTX 960M graphics card. Graphics clock 1032 MHz
    Direct 3D version 12

    Please write into to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]Com along with your log and trace files and a link to this forum post.

    Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.

    * Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
    * Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
    * Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
    * Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.

      I would just like to say thank you to ninjacator support, with their help I was able to render a solution. If anyone else has the same problem see below.

      To test, can you please open the Nvidia Control Panel? I was able to locate a previous forum discussion where switching 3D processor settings has helped inprove this for other users. See below.

        We just released NinjaTrader 8.0.11.0 which includes performance upgrades to the crosshair.

          Hello PatrickG,
          I have upgraded to NT8.0.11.1 and it appears to have made the lagging of the cross hairs even worse - I was in a position where I couldn't even control it to move my stop or switch it off, so I had to close. I already have my Nvida set to use High performance GPU for NT8. Any other solutions?

            This is the first feedback we've received about worse cross hair performance when using 8.0.11.0. I'd like to learn more about your PC and NinjaTrader installation.
