    Chart not displaying correctly in chart window

    Hi

    I have an issue with a new download of NT8.

    Everything installed correctly but when trying to load a chart eg EIRUSD the window remains blank. When I click on the "Chart" word, top left corner of chart window, or anywhere in the top bar (where the icons are etc) then the chart appears. If I hold the mouse button down the chart remains visible until I let go of the mouse button...

    Thank you for your post.

    It may be the chart is minimized or outside of where it can be displayed on the chart. You can use the steps below to drag the chart into view.

    * First, hover your mouse over the NinjaTrader icon in your Taskbar
    * Right click on the window you want to move and select "Move"
    * Press any of the directional arrows on your keyboard (do not click yet)
    * Move your mouse, the window will now be attached.
    * Click to Drop the window in place.


    Note: If "Move" is grayed out, then this means the window is minimized. Select Restore in this case before proceeding with the above steps.

      I am not sure if you fully understood what I was saying.

      The chart window appears in the middle of the PC screen, no problem. I can minimise, move it, click all the icons etc. BUT the actual candlesticks, indicators from the data are not visible within the actual chart window.

      If we click in the title bar or on the word CHART , in the chart window, then the candlesticks, plotted indicators etc do appear. It is as though the mouse is causing a toggle effect but the default is a blank chart window and then "onClick" left mouse button the candlesticks appear, take finger off the mouse button candlesticks (everything) disappears.

        I see, please write into to PlatformSupport[AT]NinjaTrader[DOT]Com along with your log and trace files and a link to this forum post.

        Please follow the steps below to manually attach your log and trace files to your response so I may investigate this matter further.

        * Open your NinjaTrader folder under Documents.
        * Right click on the 'log' and 'trace' folders and select Send To> Compressed (zipped) Folder.
        * Send the 2 compressed folders as attachments to this email.
        * Once complete, you can delete these compressed folders.
