How will this change when I activate a "Live" account?

Thanks for opening the thread.

If you would like to change the an account in NinjaScript from the Sim101 account to your live account, you will want to replace the Sim101 account name with the account name for your live account as you see it under the Display Name column on the Accounts tab of the Control Center. You will have to be connected to the live account to see this listed.

Live Account

Hello I just open a live account with Forex.com using NinjaTrader platform, when I logged using the username and password for my live account I was surprise to find out that the trades from my Simulation account were still executing in my live account. I don't even understand what is going on. Please advice

Hello Yemmy,

The Sim101 account will be available to the simulated data feed as well as real time data feeds. Orders can still be submitted to the Sim101 account regardless of the data feed connected.

You can select the account that the order goes to with the Account selector in Chart Trader and in the SuperDOM window as well as in the Strategy parameters window.

Orders cannot transition from one account to another. If you are observing this, please write in to platformsupport[at]ninjatrader[dot]com so one of our technicians can assist you further.
