Is there a way, when this situation occurs, to have the same stop order changed to a limit order instead at the same price?

When Stop Order Rejected
If my strategy submits a stop order but the market has already moved past the price, then it is rejected and the strategy is disabled.

Hello,
Thank you for the post.
In the case of rejections, there are really only two ways you can handle this. You can either adjust your existing logic to prevent this from happening to start with. If the order is being placed at a price that causes a rejection it would be expected to stop the script.
The second approach is more advanced as this would entail you handle all possible outcomes yourself. You can have the strategy ignore rejects and continue, you could then handle this situation however you want logically. Just please be advised this is a more advanced approach and would require you test all cases.

I look forward to being of further assistance.JesseNinjaTrader Customer Service
