Checking other Symbols/Markets Via Code or Strategy Builder

Are there any ways through code or preferably the Strategy Builder to:

Say I'm on my 15 minute ES charts... and I want the Strategy or a custom indicator to check other markets/symbols to see if they are up or down to justify my trend opinion for the day, ie. If GOOGL, AMZN, NFLX, AAPL and FB are above an EMA or up on the day in terms of change or change %... then it would signal true to that condition.

    Hello TicksBandit,

    Thanks for your post.

Yes, in the strategy builder you can add each instrument in the "additional data" window. In the conditions section you could check each instruments price to its EMA and then perhaps set a local variable to true indicating all are above. The variable can then be used as one of the entry conditions.

To access the other data, in the conditions window, you would need to make sure to select the added data series as the default would be to the chart bars.

I've created a short video to clarify: https://Paul-ninjaTrader.tinytake.co...M4N182NjM5MTMz
