    Macdbb strategy

    Hello everyOne,

I'm using Strategy Builder to develop my strategy,
One of my signals is the MACDBBS indicator, I need to set that when the price closes above 0.3 make a long entry for example, and when it closes below -0.3 make a short entry.

    how i can configure this?

    Thanks

    Hello FernandoParra,

    Thanks for your post.

You would need to make two conditions in the Strategy Builder that check if (Strategy>Current Market Position == Strategy>Market Position>Flat) AND that indicator Plot Value is greater than a Numeric value of 0.3 to call EnterLong() and another condition to check the opposite and EnterShort().

More information on using the Strategy Builder can be referenced here - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCyt90GAs9k

      Jim Thank for your time,
I was able to do what I needed.
Now I have another doubt, I do not know if you can help me,
the other indicator is a keltner channel, I want the other condition for the strategy to be that if the price approaches at least 2 ticks above the midband of the keltner it generates the buy signal in almost a long.

There would be two conditions in this strategy

        Hello FernandoParra,

Price comparisons can also be made in the Strategy Builder.

You could create a condition in that references the Keltner channel plot and if the current price is greater or equal to the Keltner Channel plot with a Tick Offset.

        Price data comparisons - https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...ataComparisons

        Using Offsets - https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...setAnItemValue

If this does not help resolve your inquiry could you describe what conditions you have tried specifically and results you have gotten?

I look forward to being of further assistance.
