    Unable to load historical data

    Hi,
I am trying to use index Rusell3000 as aditional data series when building strategy. It can be found in NT under ^RUA, but when I try to run the strategy in Analyzer it gives me an error message "...Unable to load historical data...". And indeed when I check there no data available for the ticker and I am not able to even download it using Tools/Import...

    Any advice?

    Thank you

    Petr

    Hello Domek_69,

    Thanks for your post.

Please check your "Log" tab of the control center for further information, if any.

What data feed are you connected to?

There was nothing in the log except the error message . It actuall starts like this: Error on requesting bars series:"Unable to load..." I have Kinetick - Ened of Day connection on.

        Hello Domek_69,

        Thanks for your reply.

The Rusell3000 is not supported on the Kinetick connection so this would be expected.

I see. Any workaround? Does it mean I need to connect to paid solution from data provider or broker like IB? As I checked NASDAQ100 or SP500 are supported in Kinetic, so using this I would not get any message, right?

            Hello Domek_69,

            Thanks for your reply.

"Does it mean I need to connect to paid solution from data provider or broker like IB? " Yes, you would need a subscription to a data feed that provides the Rusell3000. If you go to Tools>Instruments> and look up the symbol, then click "edit" you would be able to see what data feeds are mapped to the instrument in the symbol map section indicating what data feeds would likely provide the symbol.

"As I checked NASDAQ100 or SP500 are supported in Kinetic, so using this I would not get any message, right?" A simple check is if you can chart the instrument, you would be able to add it to your strategy.
