    Hello Emma1,
    Thanks for your post.

Can you please clarify. Are you wanting to test a strategy in the Strategy Analyzer?

          Emma1,

Platform Support does not offer services such as backtesting of custom strategies, but we do provide the tools and resources so that you can do this yourself. You can backtest a strategy by going to your Control Center>>New>>Strategy Analyzer

The following help guide link has more information on how to backtest a strategy in the Strategy Analyzer: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...a_strategy.htm

In regards to the availability of specific symbols, that is going to depend on your specific data provider. Any further questions about data availability would warrant their own separate post.

How about different verisons of NT8 for example , can it result to less accurate reading?

              Emma1,

Although I would not expect for there to be any differences in results, I do suggest always being on the most current version. You can see what version you are running from your Control Center>>Help>>About

You can also check to see what the most recent version is by checking the release notes: https://ninjatrader.com/support/help...ease_notes.htm
