Question on the stop strategy of an ATM strategy in a custom strategy
I am coding my own strategy and am thinking of using ATM strategies that I have already created in the superDOM. Will the stop strategies attached to the ATM strategies also be automatically implemented when my strategy is enabled and an order is placed using the ATM strategy? Or will I have to manage the stop losses and profit targets manually by coding for them as well? Please let me know. Thanks. -
Hello,
Thanks for the post.
The ATM strategies will work like they would normally in the user interface. The strategy would need to provide the entry and the ATM takes control until the trade ends Please see the SampleAtmStrategy under New> NinjaScript Editor for a use case example. Also, see the help guide page on using ATM strategies in a NinjaScript.
Please let us know if you have any questions.Chris L.NinjaTrader Customer Service
