    Hello rickyblah12,

    Thanks for your post.

The amount of time taken to clear historical orders from the database will depend mostly on how large the database is. Historical orders in the database can be cleared almost instantaneously if the database is small. A large database can take take several seconds, and at most minutes to clear.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

        Hello rickyblah12,

If you are unable to perform the Account Reset and remove historical orders, I may suspect an issue with the database file and would suggest to close NinjaTrader and rename your Documents/NinjaTrader 8/db/NinjaTrader.sdf file so a new database is created when the platform is started again.

If this issue is recurring, please send a message to me at platformsupport [at] ninjatrader [dot] com with your database file and workspace file attached as well as your log and trace files. Please also include the text "Attn Jim" and a link to this thread so I can pick up the ticket.

Your log and trace files will be located in the Documents/NinjaTrader 8/log and Documents/NinjaTrader 8/trace folders. Workspaces are located in Documents/NinjaTrader 8/workspaces. Please include a zip of these files with your email message if issues arise again. If your database is too large to send as an attachment, we could download it with a Dropbox link or a Google Drive link.

I look forward to being of further assistance.

            Hello rickyblah12,

Taking the following steps will create a new NinjaTrader database file.

            1. Close NinjaTrader
            2. Navigate to the Documents/NinjaTrader 8/db/ folder
            3. Rename NinjaTrader.sdf to NinjaTraderOLD.sdf
            4. Restart NinjaTrader

Please let me know if you are continuing to see issues, and I will be happy to assist further.

                Hello rickyblah12,

Creating a new database will be void of the trade history in your old database file. If you would like to delete the old database file, you are free to as it is no longer being used.

Please let me know if I can be of further assistance.
