With the generator of strategies not how it is done, it must be done manually, in the "actions" of the generator there is only to close or place orders, but not to edit them. The ideal would be an already armed strategy as a template where you have input data ATM parameters to do what the ATM does, and edit the code to place the opening conditions, which I already have, what I do not have is ATM management. Available? Thank you. If it is not, well I will have to learn no more. Regards and thanks.

Hello Samir,
Thank you for your post.
There exists a feature request to add ATM functionality within the Strategy Builder. I will add a vote to feature request ID: SFT-1986
Please check the release notes upon each release to track added features:

NinjaTrader_ChrisL not sure if I need a new post for this but from reading the reference guide to "Using ATM Strategies" it says:
"ATM Strategies operate in real-time only and will not execute on historical data thus they can't be backtested"
is this different than programing within Strategybuilder if we use the fuctions SetStopLoss(), SetProfitTarget(),and SetTrallingStop() ?

Hello w0lverine,
Thanks for your reply.
No this does not apply for strategies that use SetStopLoss() and SetProfitTarget(). Those methods set up limit/stop market orders so the strategy is able to be backtested.
Please let me know if I can assist further.Chris L.NinjaTrader Customer Service
